We're looking for a passionate sales professional to join our team of travel professionals. Our ideal candidate will have worked in the travel industry in Auckland and will have a well-developed understanding of the travel management sector.

Our successful candidate will have a strong commercial understanding will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company.

This candidate will be focused and have strong verbal and written communication skills and will further develop our established networks and create new opportunities. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

Responsibilities cultivate prospects: create and nurture a robust pipeline with a focus on enterprise, mid-sized businesses, firms and institutions across a range of sectors. Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help our company expand.

Maintain and grow existing business through assigned account management of some of our existing clients. Complete tailored presentations and written proposals. Present our services in tender processes including technology demonstrations.

Qualifications exceptional presentation and communication skills. Travel, airline, hotel or rental car industry related business development experience. Travel industry and travel management sector knowledge. Preferably an ability to use the GDS (we are an Amadeus agency). Strong interpersonal skills. Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies. Focused and goal-oriented.
