Bolton Clarke is Australia's largest independent not-for-profit aged care provider, supporting thousands of residents nationally across our Residential Aged Care network. As the aged care sector continues to evolve, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Analyst to join our high-performing Commercial team and help drive workforce, financial and operational performance across one of Australia's largest residential aged care portfolios.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this is a highly visible role partnering with operational leaders, Finance, Funding, Payroll, Employee Relations and Workforce teams to deliver meaningful insights that influence business decisions. You'll transform complex workforce and financial data into actionable recommendations that improve productivity, optimise resource allocation, strengthen compliance and support exceptional resident outcomes.
Your responsibilities:
Deliver labour forecasting, workforce reporting and commercial analysis across 87 residential aged care homes
Analyse workforce performance trends and provide recommendations to improve productivity and financial outcomes
Support annual budget and reforecast processes through workforce modelling and labour forecasting
Monitor labour performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying risks, variances and opportunities
Drive roster governance initiatives to improve compliance, workforce utilisation and cost management
Lead Direct Care Minutes (DCM) and Quarterly Financial Report (QFR) reporting requirements
Partner with operational leaders to optimise workforce performance and improve business outcomes
Review and optimise master rosters, balancing care requirements, funding, occupancy and operational efficiency
Develop workforce models and funding forecasts to support strategic decision-making
Prepare Enterprise Agreement costings and analyse workforce-related business impacts
Support continuous improvement initiatives, tools, processes and reporting frameworks
About you
You'll be a commercially minded analyst who enjoys working with stakeholders, solving complex business problems and influencing operational decision-making through data-driven insights.
You'll likely bring experience in:
Commercial analysis, workforce analytics, financial analysis or business partnering roles
Labour forecasting, budgeting, workforce planning or operational performance reporting
Presenting insights and recommendations to operational leaders and senior stakeholders
Financial modelling, forecasting and business performance analysis
Advanced Excel skills including complex formulas, Power Query and large data set analysis
Working across multiple stakeholders to drive business outcomes and operational improvements
Highly regulated environments such as aged care, healthcare, government or large service-based organisations
Degree qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics or a related discipline
CPA or CA qualifications (or progression towards these) will be highly regarded
