Bookkeeper and Receptionist Calmer Sutra Tea location Melbourne. $30 – $40 per hour.

US Calmer Sutra Tea is a well-established, small business run by a passionate and dynamic team of individuals. We pride ourselves on being leaders in the specialty Chai & beverage industry with our boutique products holding a strong position in both the hospitality and wellness spaces.

We invite thought provoking and unique individuals to join our Calmer community based on generosity and genuine connection. Our warehouse and offices are located in Moorabbin, Victoria. This position covers a 5 day fortnight with some flexibility around which days of the week you will work.

You with a keen eye for detail you are well organised and are able to work well autonomously. You thrive in a busy and dynamic working environment and will play a key role in the smooth, daily operations of our business. Honesty, values, and integrity are non-negotiable and you have the natural ability to build rapport and make people feel at ease.

Your experience and qualifications will look something like this previous experience and/or qualifications in bookkeeping is advantageous but not a must. Previous experience using Xero accounting software is advantageous but not a must. Previous experience in a customer service, administrative or reception related role. Experience and/or a passion within the hospitality/ health and wellness industries is advantageous. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Google suite - sheets, docs, gmail etc.

Your strengths and skill set will look something like this strong proactive administration skills with high attention to detail, accuracy and task prioritization. Excellent communication (written and verbal). A people person who will build strong rapport with our customers and ensure they have a great experience. A process improvement mindset; someone who can think outside of the box to problem solve and offer better solutions to current systems and processes.

Manage basic bookkeeping - 2 days per week. Accounts payable and receivable. Debtor statements and debt collection. Reconcile accounts. Manage accounts at inbox. Liaise with bookkeeper and Accountants to assist with end of month preparation.
