About the position due to the growth in our bookkeeping business we are seeking a bookkeeper with a minimum of 3 years’ experience to support our team. No day will be the same as you will be working across multiple client files from a variety of different industries and performing various tasks such as reconciliations, AP, AR, payroll, month-end processes and BAS preparation. The position is full time in our Mount Pleasant office.

We are looking for someone who has had experience with Xero and MYOB, is good at multi-tasking and enjoys customer service. We are looking forward to mentoring the successful candidate to grow and flourish in the role and become a key part of our team.

Your position will include but is not limited to the following direct client contact in all bookkeeping matters. Accounts payable and receivable. Payroll processing. Superannuation reconciliations. Preparation of Business Activity Statements.

Balance sheet account reconciliations. Regular communication with clients, including responding to client queries. Onsite bookkeeping as and when the demand arises. Software set up and client training. Other administration tasks and reporting as required.

To ensure that you succeed in this position you will have/be good communication and interpersonal skills. Bookkeeping experience – minimum 3 years. Experience with Xero and MYOB products. Payroll and BAS experience essential.

Adaptability and excellent problem solving skills. A strong work ethic with exceptional attention to detail. Well organised with excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task between clients and meet deadlines. Diploma qualified or Institute of Certified Bookkeepers membership preferred.
