Bookkeeper or Office Spectrum Plumbing (NSW) Pty Ltd location Sydney. $35 – $40 per hour.

We are excited to offer the position of bookkeeper / office all rounder to join our small friendly team.

About the business we are an established mechanical plumbing company in Sydney, we have been serving the air conditioning industry with high quality pipework installations for over 10 years. With a strong focus on quality and customer service excellence, we continuously strive to provide top-notch services for our clients.

About the role we are currently looking for a friendly experienced Bookkeeper / office all rounder, who is self-motivated and a proactive office all-rounder super star, who can work independently & multitask effectively with a great team.

Initially this position will be in a remote, part time role, with the opportunity for this to transition in the future into more days / hours available at a Sydney based location. If you’re an individual who possesses the same core values as us we would be thrilled to hear from you. This position would initially be approximately 4-6 hours per week, possibly across multiple days. We can be flexible around which days these duties are carried out.

Responsibilities general office / administrative duties / email queries. Able to assist with operations. Payroll management, superannuation. Xero reconciling. Projects creation & tracking. Setup of workers and company for newly awarded projects. Month end invoice preparation. Accounts payable / receivable. Social media assistance.

Qualifications proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar finance-related role. Knowledge of financial software, Xero is a plus. Strong understanding of payroll and accounting principles. Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Experience with social media platforms is a plus. Strong communication and people skills with the ability to collaborate with various teams.

About you a person with a positive attitude and willing to learn would be most suited to this role as it is a quite a diversified role. You are the kind of person who loves variety and doesn’t mind being thrown in the deep end with new tasks and responsibilities. You could be someone who excels in a team environment and always puts their hand up to help out a team member when they are struggling with work.
