We strive to work with ethical companies, and our clients are some of the most forward-thinking organisations of all sizes in Australia coming from a variety of industries and well-known brands.  We are looking for an experienced, Part Time Bookkeeper to join our team for 2 days per week, consisting of 1 in office day (Wednesday), with remaining hours completed remotely over remaining working days.

The role is pivotal in supporting us with general bookkeeping services in house. You will work across payroll, accounts payable / receivable. This role would suit an experienced Bookkeeper seeking a Flexible part time arrangement.

Key responsibilities accounts payable management (including entering & reconciliation of bills in Xero, scheduling payment of bills, communicating with suppliers). Accounts receivable management (including raising of invoices, reconciliation of payments, invoice follow up).  Processing weekly staff payroll.

Managing staff expenses. Payroll & other tax management and reporting. Lodgement of superannuation & government tax statements. Management of insurance. Lodgement of R&D claims. Communicating with company accountants .

Essential skills relevant Tertiary qualification (Accounting, Business or other relevant discipline). 5+ years’ experience in a similar accounting role. Experience with XERO. High attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Advanced organisational skills. A motivated individual, and a self-starter. Flexible attitude. The ability to work unsupervised. Experience working in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
