Are you a Kalgoorlie local looking to expand your mining career and gain valuable experience working for an OEM? Be part of an exciting new chapter at Epiroc and work on a range of Epiroc equipment in our Kalgoorlie service centre.

Epiroc is now hiring experienced surface and underground Auto Electricians to join our Kalgoorlie Service team. This role is being offered locally on an attractive 8/6 residential roster.

As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for:

Creating and developing strong relationships with customers and team members
Carrying out specialised repairs, rebuilds and maintenance work on Epiroc's range of surface and underground mining equipment
Carrying out service and repairs on electrical and RCS systems
Solve complex equipment-related issues including diagnostic fault finding
Have a good grasp of electrical best practices regarding electrical componentry installation and cable routing
Field and workshop repairs on a range of Epiroc equipment
Providing a high level of technical product support to our customers located within the region
Comply with Epiroc and customer SHEQ and WHS requirements

Ideally, you will possess the following experience and qualifications:

Relevant trade Auto Electrical qualification
Extensive experience in the maintenance of surface and underground mobile mining equipment, Diagnostics and low voltage electrical repairs
Preventative and breakdown maintenance experience
Heavy mobile plant equipment rebuilds
Proven ability to troubleshoot and fault find complex electrical problems
Epiroc's surface and underground product experience will be highly regarded

The successful candidate must be a strong team player with excellent relationship-building skills. A positive attitude and commitment to all areas of service operations are essential to the job.

Also, candidates will have an obvious commitment to OH&S, Quality and Environment policies and procedures; they also have a strong desire to deliver best practice solutions for our customer's business.

As part of our recruitment process, we require a National Police Clearance, pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen amongst other verification requirements.
