Assistant Accountant or BookKeeper HiTech Personnel location Sydney.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to take on the position of Assistant Company Accountant / Bookkeeper.

You will be responsible for the following payroll for a large contractor base & staff, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, BAS & IAS preparation, Payroll tax preparation, Financial Reporting, Assisting the Company Accountant with ASX and Financial reporting tasks. General administrative and office duties.

To be successful, you will need to possess the following accounting qualification and/or BookKeeping. Advanced proficiency with MYOB. Intermediate Microsoft Office suite skills (In particular Microsoft Excel - knowledge of V-Lookup, Pivot etc ideal but not essential). Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work autonomously and be relied on to meet deadlines . Offer assistance and guidance to the sales team in relation to accounting matters.

We are looking for an individual with a 'can do' attitude to work competently within a team of high performers. As we are a publicly listed company, we will offer the right candidate an opportunity to learn and develop their skills and knowledge in reporting requirements for publicly listed companies.

This position will suit a positive and eager individual to keep the accounts accurate, payroll our contractors and employees and provide financial administration support & reporting to management. There will be full training provided by the current senior accountant. Initially 3 days per week with some flexibility and a possibility to move to 5 days per week.
