Green Light Worldwide has a new and fantastic opportunity for an assistant accountant and all-rounder based in our CBD Office.  Reporting to Commercial Manager, the primary duties are in assisting of day to day finance. Duties include assisting in statutory reporting, reconciliations, systems implementation and other ad hoc accounting duties. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a wide range of knowledge across the department being heavily involved in all areas such as receivables, payables, payroll and management accounting / reporting. You will become the "trusted advisor" for requirements in the finance space and you will be heavily involved in development of new procedures and services across the department and business. Responsibilities assist with statutory reporting (bas / payroll tax / payg withholding tax / fbt), assist in maintaining the group’s sales boards and consolidated reporting, provide assistance for accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll, assist in reconciling monthly sales board to management accounts with accounts receivable and payroll, balancing cogs and revenue, assist with monthly management reconciliations, playing an active role in assisting the group’s financial consolidation process, opportunity to enhance process and re-define current gross margin model. Requirements degree qualified working towards cpa – desirable, advanced excel skills, excellent communication skills – an ability to interact with and clearly communicate with a broad range of stakeholders, excellent analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities, excellent team player, a strong desire to work in a globally diverse business, a hands on approach to achieving required outcomes and improving processes.
