Several offices and factories throughout New Zealand, you will be based in our Auckland office. We deal with a wide variety of clients with a broad range of expectations, as a result our work is predominantly of a Design Build nature with homes ranging from standard predesigned plans through to million dollar plus homes. We have many discerning clients who expect a very high standard of service and build quality.

To assist us in servicing our current pipeline plus future clients we need a suitably qualified and experienced Architect or Architectural Designer with LBP to join our growing team. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with both internal and external stakeholders. We are driven by listening to our customer and being able to innovate and change quickly to a moving residential landscape and environment.

This exciting opportunity seeks a highly experienced Architect or LBP to lead our collaborative team of highly skilled and qualified professionals within an expanding and growing organisation. To be considered for this role you must be an experienced architectural designer with New Zealand experience with solid experience and knowledge of planning and design, a strong technical understanding and ability to deliver across multiple projects and locations. You must hold an LBP Design license and be confident in your ability to use ArchiCAD proficiently.

The successful applicant will ideally have a strong knowledge and understanding of NZ Building Codes and Standards. 5+ years experience in New Zealand. A high level of ArchiCad skills with a minimum of 3+ years experience . A strong technical focus and technical knowledge of building materials. Experience working with different cladding materials, a sound understanding of construction techniques and weather-tightness detailing .

Good knowledge and experience in dealing with resource and building consent procedures. Excellent communication and organisation skills with exceptional time and quality management skills. A can-do attitude and enjoy working with clients, contractors, consultants and stakeholders. Strong motivation to delivery high quality outcomes for our clients. Experience with MultiProof design would be desirable.

Duties may include but are not limited to review and sign-off of building consent documentation for submission with council. Creation of Concept Designs. Development of concepts through to contract. Production of working drawings. Preparation and management of building consent documentation and procedure from contract to consent.

Resource Consent - manage external parties on these matters. Auditing of working drawings by outside contractors. Liaising with council and other consultants throughout the consenting and construction process. Dealing with design changes and amendments prior to and during construction. Management of CCC documentation and sign off.
