About the role the Records Unit forms part of the PSC Intelligence, Innovation and Risk Division and comprises of a Inspector, VPS4 Manager and VPS2 employees. The Unit's purpose is to provide internal employee probity checks to assist decision making that mitigates risk pertaining to the organisation's ethical health. In addition, the unit manages the administration, sourcing and archiving of employee discipline records. Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements.

Your duties will include maintaining accurate computer and manual management information of employee discipline records. Provide administrative support to the division including the maintenance of accurate and comprehensive records/registers and the collation of data and information on confidential and sensitive material.

Attend to telephone enquiries from personnel; provide initial information and advice as required according to policy and legislation. Preparation of reports and correspondence. Receive record and distribute mail and correspondence.

As the successful applicant, you will have demonstrated ability to accurately maintain computer and manual information systems, including the ability to accurately maintain and update administrative records. Well-developed oral and written communication skills. Ability to work in a sensitive and confidential environment including the ability to deal with challenging information.

Requirements and relevant information one (1) x full-time, ongoing position available. This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands. The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head.  To achieve this, applicants must be an Australian Citizen.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening. In accordance with organisational policy, all Victoria Police employees are required to be fully vaccinated (including a booster vaccination) against COVID-19 or hold a valid medical exception.
