Administration Support Officer Youth Advocacy Centre location Brisbane.

About you youth Advocacy Centre (YAC) is looking for a person who is enthusiastic about working behind the scenes, in an administration capacity, to assist young people and those who support them. You respect the right of young people to be involved in decisions which affect them and their lives. As an administration superstar, you will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to YAC.

Demonstrated skills and experience you will have a minimum of 4 years administration support experience in relation to systems and processes, preferably within a human services or legal environment.

A genuine desire to work in an administration support role a high level of attention to detail. Ability to exercise empathy, discretion and sensitivity when communicating with clients and stakeholders. Advanced computer literacy skills including the use of cloud-based software platforms including microsoft 365, adobe suite and external portals - including data entry and reporting.

Highly developed and effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Exceptional organisational skills including self-management, planning, prioritisation and the ability to work under pressure. Ability to proactively and objectively identify administration process/system inefficiencies and contribute to solution paths. Ability to work well as a member of a team and autonomously.

You will also have a current QLD “C” class QLD Driver’s Licence, a positive Qld Working with Children check (“Blue Card”) OR the ability to acquire one. Full vaccination against COVID-19 as evidenced by COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
