Administration Officer The University of Sydney location Sydney. Base salary from $79,717 plus 17% superannuation.

About the opportunity the Administration Officer will support the University Infrastructure (UI) team in performing property and leasing administration, preparing documents, maintaining records, updating web materials, responding to queries, exploring matters, database management and sourcing solutions. As a first point of contact for UI, the role requires someone with a strong administrative background in property and leasing, and organisational skills to coordinate and undertake a range of operational activities.

Your key responsibilities will be to proactively support the Property Manager with property, leasing and license administration activities. Conduct inspections and audits of tenancies. Monitor and manage incoming correspondence independently and initiate appropriate action where possible. Coordinate payments, invoice management, purchasing and acting as a point of contact for finance. Supporting the team with the preparation of reports and registers.

About you demonstrated experience in a property and leasing administrative role experience conducting inspections and audits or property/tenancies. Working knowledge of software programs such as concur, unibuy, nomos one. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Numeracy skills with experience controlling income/expenditure for reconciliation and budget tracking, and managing invoice payments and purchases.

Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the position.
