A well-known organisation within the Property & Construction space is looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join the team on a temporary basis. There is a possibility of this role going permanent but not for sponsorship.
The role our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their Accounts Payable team and manage the accounts payable function end to end whilst providing billing and invoicing support to the wider business.
Key responsibilities responsible for high-volume supplier invoice processing (85+ per day). Processing of invoices including, matching to purchase orders and processing of weekly/end-of-month payment runs. Review and verification of supplier state. Support the Accounts Payable Team with data entry and other tasks where required.
Manage supplier relationships and agreements. Daily reconciliations of bank and credit card transactions. Processing of intercompany invoices. Creditor setup and maintenance. Undertaking training as required. Support and respond to email queries from internal and external stakeholders, notably clients.
The successful candidate will have 2 years experience (minimum) in a similar Accounts Payable role. Intermediate MS Excel, MYOB and MRI is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Motivated and enthusiastic.
Proven ability to take initiative, identify issues and deliver timely solutions. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organisational and time management skills.
