Accounts Officer Randstad location Sydney. $32.00 - $35.00 p.h.

Your New Company or role as one of the established and rapidly growing organizations, my client is looking for an Accounts Officer to join their team due to remarkable growth. This is a 6 months temporary role and subject permanency. Must have prior basic experience within accounting duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and reporting.

About the Opportunity / Responsibilities reporting directly to a manager who is nurturing and supportive, your main responsibilities will be but not limited to ensure the timely, accurate processing of sub-contractor and general supplier invoices, including the raising of purchase orders, goods / service receipting and scanning into ELO / the SAP system.

Reviewing Customer Sales orders for accuracy and to provide backup support to the finance team. Reconcile Fuel Stock and post journals. Provide Financial controller / Accountant with listing of accruals for weekly and monthly reporting. Reconcile supplier statements. Liaise with suppliers to resolve enquiries. Assists in other areas of the department as necessary. Ideal Profile.

To contribute their valuable knowledge and experience within accounting duties tertiary qualifications in Accounting. 1 year related experience. SAP experience preferably otherwise training is provided. Intermediate Excel knowledge. Proactive, hardworking and fast learner. Excellent communication skills. Managing workload, meeting deadlines and being organized at all times. Attention to detail.
