Customer Service Officer Quay Appointments location Sydney Parramatta & Western Suburbs. A well-respected Government department is currently looking for a highly experienced Customer Service Officer to join their team based in Parramatta on a contract basis. You will be servicing clients via phone, email, letter, social media and involve both inbound and outbound contacts. The role you will be the first point of contact for customer enquiries, actively listening and be solution focused, capture information and interpret customer needs by offering solutions or information, treat customers in a courteous and respectful manner, giving them your highest priority, build positive relationships with customers ensuring a quality experience, embrace, acknowledge and act upon constructive feedback, participate and represent business requirements on projects as needed, identify the range of products and services offered to customers. Please note rotating shift between 7am - 6pm on weekdays and weekends 6am - 11pm which is voluntary. About you demonstrated customer service/ call centre experience, prior experience within government is desirable, demonstrated emotional intelligence, empathy and solutions focused to call resolution, demonstrated proficiency in using a computer – accuracy of data input, ability to use multiple applications and screen views, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proven experience in working to a kpi environment, highly organized and great problem-solving skills. Benefits close to public transport, 6 month contract, $34.00 per hour + super, 35 hrs a week and opportunity to volunteer for additional hours.
