THE ROLE

At JD, we're constantly looking for ways to create better digital experiences for our customers. As we continue to invest in digital growth, we're looking for a Digital Product Owner to help bring our product vision to life across our App, Website and In-Store Kiosk experience in five APAC markets.

Supporting our APAC Product Manager, you'll play a hands-on role in delivering seamless customer experiences, partnering with stakeholders, developers and global teams to turn ideas into measurable impact. This is an opportunity to join a growing Product function and influence how thousands of customers interact with JD every day.

From writing requirements and prioritising the backlog to partnering with engineering and business stakeholders, you'll help ensure we're delivering experiences that make a real impact for both our customers and our business.

What You’ll Be Doing

Help deliver the APAC roadmap and strategic initiatives across app, website and in-store kiosk

Translate customer needs, business requirements and opportunities into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria and functional requirements

Own and manage the product backlog, balancing competing priorities and ensuring teams are focused on delivering maximum value

Work closely with internal developers, external technology partners and global stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions

Assess requirements, identify system dependencies and help determine what is technically feasible and commercially viable

Collaborate with UX, Ecommerce, Retail, Marketing and Operations teams to improve customer experiences across digital channels

Run agile ceremonies with engineering, including sprint planning and backlog refinement

Support testing and own release readiness, making sure work meets acceptance criteria before it goes live

Measure the impact of what we deliver and use customer feedback and analytics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Act as a key link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring solutions meet customer, technical and business needs

WHO YOU ARE

You're naturally curious and know how to take a problem, ask the right questions, work through competing priorities, and partner with stakeholders to deliver practical solutions. You're comfortable working with both business and technical teams and can confidently switch between discussing customer experiences, commercial outcomes and technical requirements.

What You’ll Bring

Previous experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Technical Business Analyst or similar digital product role

Experience working closely with development teams in Agile delivery environments

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across the business

Confidence writing user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria

Ability to unpick integrations and system dependencies with engineers, and translate them into clear requirements and trade-offs for the business

A customer-first mindset with a passion for improving digital experiences

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions using data and insights

The ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Experience working with product delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence

Bonus

Retail, ecommerce or omnichannel experience

Shopify or similar ecommerce platform exposure

Experience with mobile apps or customer-facing digital products

Experience working with external vendors, technology partners or offshore teams

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

Brand-new Sydney CBD office

Be part of a globally recognised brand in a high-growth phase

Generous staff discounts for you, friends & family

Wellbeing programs & Employee assistance program

Paid parental leave & Birthday leave

Vibrant team culture with regular events and celebrations

JD values diversity and inclusion and champions a culture where everyone feels valued, included, and celebrated. If you love turning ideas into reality, thrive in fast-paced environments, and get excited by seeing your work reach thousands of customers every day, we'd love to hear from you.
