About the Wagga Health Centre

The Wagga Health Centre is located at RAAF Base Wagga at Forest Hill, SE of Wagga Wagga and has been an integral part of the community since 1940. Known as the “Home of the Airman”, it houses the RAAF schools of Technical Training, Administration & Logistics and Postgraduate Studies. Services provided include primary medical, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy. Health Centre staff may be required to work across Wagga & Kapooka.

What you’ll do

Deliver high quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations or monitor and manage patients in a low dependency ward setting
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals
Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care

What you bring

Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum one year Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care or military setting
Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient centred care
Ability to work a 24/7 roster
