We are now seeking a Senior Mine Surveyor – Open Pit to join a newly created Mining Operations Team at our Laverton Operations satellite site, Bruno Lewis. In this role you will oversee the survey function and a team of surveyors at the Bruno Lewis mining operations.

The Opportunity:

Review, update and manage all survey practices and procedures.
Maintain accurate, up to date mine survey records and manage end of month reporting, contract physical calculation and associated reconciliations.
Lead and mentor the survey team to support all facets of open pit mining and general site services as required.
Statutory submission of mine survey records.
Ensure that mine survey control is maintained and conforms to the Mine Survey Code of Practice.

We’re excited to hear from you if you have:

Tertiary Qualification in Mine Surveying (or equivalent)
Authorised Mine Surveyor’s Certificate
Extensive experience in surveying open pit operations.
Demonstrated supervisory and team management skills
High level of personal organisational and communication skill
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office software
Experience with Deswik Software and Quikslope would be highly regarded
