Responsibility manages the outsourcing and contract manufacturing partners globally. optimizes supplier performance including quality, delivery, cost, innovation, supply chain management, etc, works within the team to establish and develop commodity plan based on the company’s strategy and direction, adapts the strategy as business, market, and economic environments change, establishes and maintains supplier classification and supplier capability matrix, constantly evaluates and identifies supplier risks in term of financial, quality, delivery, cost, capacity, system, market, etc and leads efforts to address those risks, maintains supplier relationship, this includes onsite visits, regular conference calls and supplier coming in visits, understands supplier’s organization structure, work shift, business roadmap, infrastructure planning, and so on, be the primary contact point and relationship owners, be the point of escalation, collaborates with various internal groups to resolve any issues from supplier’s cost, quality, delivery and design performance. Requirements bachelor’s degree in business or a technically related field, or equivalent experience, minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or a technical position in a low volume high value manufacturing environment, experience and knowledge in large module manufacturing and process, experience and knowledge in copy exactly culture is a plus, ism certified purchasing manager (c.p.m) or certified professional in supply chain management (cpsm) certification preferred.
