Maintenance Fitter VISY location Brisbane.

Our plant in Hemmant is looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter, who will form part of our reliability team, supporting production of a busy plant.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to be proactive in completing preventative maintenance. Be reactive to breakdowns minimising downtime. Carry out routine checks and planned maintenance to maintain productivity of machines.

Assist in fault finding, troubleshooting and repairs of machinery. Maintain stock levels of spare parts to assist in making components for repairs. Update and maintain data records on work carried out via CMMS (MEX). Uphold and adhere to company policies and procedures in Environmental, Health and Safety.

What you will bring to the team Mechanical Trade Certificate. Minimum 3 years industry/manufacturing/FMCG experience. Own toolbox. Own vehicle and driver’s license. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Great work ethic with the ability to work autonomously or part of a team.
