Position overview seeking an experienced and results-driven FP&A Manager to join the finance team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategies, providing insights that drive decision-making and supporting the mission to lead the green energy revolution. This si a key appointment in the team and will be followed by an expansion of the team over time.

Key responsibilities lead the financial planning and analysis function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Develop and maintain budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes. Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and improve performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with the company’s strategic objectives. Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions as necessary. Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders. Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and systems for greater efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications and experience bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA, CA, or CFA designation is preferred. Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, within the energy sector. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation. Proficiency in financial modelling and reporting tools. A commitment to sustainability and understanding of the renewable energy landscape is highly regarded.
