2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Fitter or Mechanic Vacvator Pty Limited location Southern Highlands and Tablelands.
About Vacvator is a privately owned Australian manufacturer of hydro-vacuum excavation trucks, dry vacuum and jetting equipment. As industry leaders we are rapidly expanding and currently have an opportunity for a 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Fitter/Mechanic. This is a great opportunity to continue your apprenticeship with a supportive progressive company. The successful candidate will be a part of a dynamic, functional and expanding team.
Tasks and responsibilities assembling our manufactured units. Complete service & repairs of Vacuum Excavation Equipment.
Qualifications & Experience 1st or 2nd Year Diesel Mechanic- Cert III Mobile Plant Technology
Selection criteria knowledge in 12/24v CANBUS auto electrical (desired). Excellent time management, attention to detail and problem-solving skills. An ability to communicate clearly both written and verbally. Be highly motivated and able to work unassisted and unsupervised.
A strong commitment towards a safe work environment. A high standard of productivity. A good work ethic, self-motivation and a positive attitude. Willingness to develop new skills. Have your own hand tools. In conjunction with the above, the successful applicant must have a high level of initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude, be physically fit, well presented.

In conjunction with the above, the successful applicant must have a high level of initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude, be physically fit, well presented. This is a Permanent Full-Time position from Monday to Friday, 40hours per week available for an immediate start. Day shift hours are from 6.00am to 2.30pm, Afternoon shift hours are from 2.30pm-11.00pm alternating weekly roster.
The position is based in Goulburn, NSW. Pay rate is based on experience and qualification, plus the opportunity to work in a clean, modern workshop is available to the suitable applicant.
