Accounts Payable Officer RUS Mining location Sydney, South West and M5 Corridor. Salary $50,000 - $59,999. RUS Mining Services Pty Ltd is a leading mining services contractor, adding value to customers through general mining services, labour hire, secondary support, ventilation devices, mobile equipment, equipment leasing and mining consumables. Full-time permanent role- 38 hours per week based at South Western Sydney - Minto. Bilingual abilities in Mandarin and English are essential. 3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable, parking available on site. Key responsibilities perform the day-to-day processing of accounts payable transactions to ensure that municipal finances are maintained in an effective, up-to-date and accurate manner. Tasks include receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and service, verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures, data entry of invoices for payment, maintain listing of accounts payable, maintain updated vendor files and file numbers, payroll tax, coal mines insurance, coal mines long service leave, fringe benefits tax, occasional payroll duties as required you must have full function accounts payable experience including making payments and supplier statement reconciliations, ability to work within a team environment and create rapport with work colleagues, ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines for management reporting, creditors payment schedules whilst providing accurate information for financial and management reporting,  technical skills in accounts payable including reconciliations to trial balance, maintaining creditors accounts and general ledger accounts, and cash book reconciliations, managing relationships with various stakeholders, including suppliers, resolving any issues that may arise, previous experience in a standalone position is preferred, with the ability to resolve issues through to a successful conclusion, previous mining experience is preferred and would also be beneficial, strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build rapport are a must, as well as being able to build relationships with those in other teams/customers/suppliers.
