Customer Service Officer DFP Recruitment location Brisbane. AUD 48.12 per hour.
DFP are proud to again be partnering with a key State Government Department in recruiting experienced Customer Service Officers to join their team on a temporary basis for approximately 4 weeks for an immediate commencement.
The role as a Customer Service Officer, you will be working in a contact centre environment taking inbound calls to immediately support communities across Queensland. With multiple roles available, customers will be seeking a quick and simple way to gain further information about postal voting applications and enquiries.
Enrolment enquiries. Information about voting options and polling places. General election related enquiries (includes candidates, advertising, funding, and disclosure, working at elections (EOIs), media, election results). Telephone voting registrations, and Administrative processing (managing external email communication).
About you, you are passionate about delivering great customer experience; you will demonstrate a strong commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs, over the phone, in a scripted environment. You will bring a high level of attention to detail including accurate data entry, and a keen ability to pick up new systems and procedures in a timely manner. Other core capabilities required in this role include proficient in using common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, CRM Systems).
Competent in handling, analysing, and interpreting data using digital tools (e.g., Excel). Knowledgeable about data privacy and security principles. Strong interpersonal skills to handle challenging conversations and resolve conflicts effectively. Demonstrate a strong commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs. Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure.
Key considerations roles to commence ASAP. Span of hours: 8.00am – 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours/ week (*hours may vary based on call volumes). Based at Zillmere - onsite parking available and 1km walk from the train station.
