The opportunity our client is looking for a results-driven Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to optimize their supply chain operations. In this role, you’ll lead procurement, inventory management, logistics, and vendor relationships to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, all while ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. This is a permanent and full-time position, delivered across a 40-hour Monday-Friday working week. The role is based in Newcastle.

Key responsibilities develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives. Monitor stock levels, prevent discrepancies, and make data-driven decisions to optimize inventory. Ensure timely delivery of goods, optimize routes, and manage transportation providers.

Oversee efficient warehouse operations, ensure stock accuracy, and maintain safety and security. Negotiate contracts, manage RFP processes, and build strong vendor relationships. Lead, mentor, and develop an existing team to achieve business goals.

Qualifications Qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or related field. Proven experience in supply chain and procurement management. Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices and regulations. Strong negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills. Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office.
