Truck Driver Australia Post location Brisbane.

We have a range of casual day shift start times on offer with these roles every week in October, potentially until the end of January. These roles tend to work Mon-Fri and competitive hourly rates plus 15% for day shift loading and 12% super apply. Tonnage allowance is also paid per shift. There may be potential for permanency depending on business requirements.

You’ll be safely loading/unloading your truck with cages for delivery. Completing your own daily vehicle safety check. Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups. Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups.

About you, you’re available to work from October, through our peak period until January. You hold a relevant HR license, HC even better. You’re safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility. You have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills.

You’re fit enough to load and unload parcels of all different shapes, sizes and weights. You’re prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo an Australia Post specific pre-employment medical, drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.

How we’ll deliver for you, you'll be allocated a regular shift time, and work with a great bunch of people. A higher rate of pay apply for applicable shifts (penalty rates). You'll benefit from a 12% superannuation rate. Onsite parking. We may have opportunities for ongoing work beyond the peak season.
