The opportunity awaits we have an exciting opportunity for a Hydrology Scientist to join our team based in sunny Whangārei.  As councils’ hydrology expert you will lead, oversee and provide advice and expertise on Hydrology projects and programmes.  You will have excellent communication skills for a range of audiences, high level writing skills and advanced data analysis and interpretation skills. Do you have what it takes we are looking for someone who can bring the following to our diverse talent pool a postgraduate level qualification in hydrology science and/or environmental Engineering. At least five years of previous proven relevant work experience. Sound knowledge of freshwater systems including issues affecting both resource quality and quantity.

Relevant experience in the design and review of environmental monitoring programmes and strategies. Significant experience in the development and management of hydrology projects.
