MARS are partnering with a Technology firm who are based in the Sydney CBD. They are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to grow and develop within this fast-paced business. This role offers a flexible hybrid model of 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

Duties and Key responsibilities perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Perform balance sheet reconciliations. Process month-end journals. Assist with month-end management reporting. Manage shared inbox and assist with accounts queries. Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules. Ad-hoc support to the wider finance team.

Skills and experience accounting degree qualified. Open to fresh graduates with a positive and hard-working attitude. Good IT skills including Excel. Experience with Xero is desirable but not essential. High level of attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
