Charlton Brown has been training since 1980 and is now Queensland’s leading vocational RTO and are currently seeking two experienced Student Service Officer / Receptionist to join their Brisbane CBD campuses on a part time permanent basis.

One position is to be based at our Adelaide Street, Brisbane City campus with the working hours of Monday to Wednesday, 8.30am to 2.30pm. One position is to be based at our Ann Street, Brisbane City campus with the working hours of Monday to Wednesday, 8.30am to 1.00pm. Please note that the working hours specified are required and cannot vary. Applicants are welcome to apply for either or both positions and we ask that your preference is clearly stated.

Your main responsibilities and duties will include provide student support services in accurate and timely manner. Analyse and resolve student issues promptly. Ability to work and communicate effectively with a wide range of people from different cultural backgrounds and to respond sensitively and appropriately.

Maintain accurate financial records including banking, petty cash, expenditure, reconciliation and requests for reimbursement. Ensure adequate supplies of consumables, such as stationary, printer, and other supplies. Advise students about the programs offered, admission procedure, eligibility and costs involved. Maintain a database of student information, telephone logs and student feedback. Provide support to the Director Compliance and Training Management as needed.

Your experience, skill set and qualifications will include excellent written and verbal communication skill. Good computing skills (MS Office Intermediate). 2 to 3 years experience in a Student services officer or receptionist capacity (or very similar). Salary Range Hourly rate, dependent on experience level. Location Brisbane CBD. Position Type Permanent Part Time, Permanent Residency required.
