Administration Support Officer Department of Corrections location Otago.

About the role health Services at Otago Corrections Facility are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, committed individual who is capable of working in a wide range of office administration activities.

The prime responsibilities of this role are, to ensure accurate medical information is recorded and maintained, while supporting the team with day-to-day administration duties, including reception, internal and external schedules and appointments, travel bookings and database management.

Good knowledge of computer software and database systems including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel), with the ability to learn new systems quickly. Knowledge or understanding of working with SAP, Medtech or similar.

Familiarity with health systems and medical terminology would be advantageous. Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, in both verbal and written. An ability to develop and improve efficiencies. High level customer service skills.

If you are a team player with the ability to identify and resolve problems whilst maintaining patient confidentiality, this will be the key to outstanding delivery. Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen, New Zealand Resident Permit holder, Australian citizen or an Australian resident who holds a current Australian Resident Return Visa. You will need a full New Zealand driver licence for this role.

Salary the midpoint of the salary range is $48,380 and the full range (85%-120%) is $45,518 - $54,120. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
