Description
Teacher Aide or Learning Assistant Ormiston Primary School location Auckland.
The successful applicant will work in partnership with educators and other professionals to promote the learning and welfare of a student with high needs. The position is 30 hours Monday to Friday.
The successful applicant will have great initiative and a proactive attitude to their work. Experience and skills in working with children with high learning needs (ORRS funded). The ability to problem solve, be flexible and responsive. Great interpersonal skills, ability to work as part of a team. Experience in NZ Primary schools preferred. Assisting with toileting is a requirement of the position as child is in a wheelchair. Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
