Are you passionate about creating seamless and unforgettable event experiences? RACV is looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Wedding & Events Coordinator to join our team and help deliver exceptional service across a wide range of conferences, meetings, and special events.
About the Role
As the Wedding & Events Coordinator, you’ll be the key contact for clients from initial enquiry through to post-event follow-up. You’ll manage bookings, coordinate logistics, and ensure every detail is executed to perfection. Working closely with internal departments, you’ll help deliver events that exceed expectations and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate all aspects of wedding and conference bookings, including accommodation, dining, and venue setup.
Prepare accurate quotes, booking agreements, and invoices in line with RACV policies.
Conduct meaningful site tours to convert new business
Liaise with clients to understand event requirements and provide expert guidance.
Create and distribute detailed Event Orders and updates to internal teams.
Maintain strong client relationships before, during, and after events.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth event delivery.
Attend weekly operations and sales meetings to communicate event details.
Ensure compliance with RACV service standards, policies, and procedures.
This role is a permanent full-time position, during the day to work in with event sales and planning. Some nights and weekends are required for this role depending on business requirements.

We’re looking for…
Previous experience in event sales and planning within a 4/5 star Resort or Environment
Well organised and can prioritise, time manage, have a keen eye for detail, have excellent communication and people interaction skills
Ability to manage multiple events concurrently
Be well presented and groomed, have excellent interpersonal skills and the willingness to develop current skills and undertake new skills as demanded by the market
It is an essential part of this role to assist with developing business, so sales experience will be considered an advantage
A team player who displays initiative and a positive mindset
High quality of work and attention to detail
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Opera desirable
Weekends, evening, and public holiday work may be required
We’re looking for…
Previous experience with administration and supplier liaison desirable
An understanding of hospitality industry in event, membership or accommodation areas
An interest in the world of events
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Opera desirable
