About Us Hawes and Freer ltd is a family business specializing in the textile industry. We are a small and friendly team that work closely together to get the job done.  Based in Morningside we are on the lookout for the right person to look after the day to day functions of our warehouse.

Your day will be busy ensuring orders are accurately processed, handling of inwards/ outwards goods, general warehouse duties and customer enquiries. The ideal candidate will have interest in the textiles/fashion industry. Previous experience in a textiles warehouse with a full clean driver’s license would be beneficial but not essential. Full training in all aspects of the role will be provided and could be suited to someone with some experience in the workforce ready to take the next step.

You will be responsible for picking, packing, and invoicing orders accurately, Cutting of fabric, Receiving and putting away stock, Ensuring the warehouse is clean and tidy, Face to face dealings with customers.

The candidate a positive attitude. Excellent customer service. Able to work with minimal supervision. Good communication skills, written and verbal. Basic computer skills. Ability to do some heavy lifting when required. Salary to negotiable based on experience.
