Warehouse Storeman Ruka Wholesale & Distributors location Auckland.

We are looking for an enthusiastic member to join our warehousing team.  We are looking for a storeman who is passionate about organisation, warehousing and enjoys working in a team. Ruka Wholesale & Distributors is a NZ owned and operated company located in East Tamaki that distributes confectionery and beverages in the Auckland, Northland & Waikato areas.

We are seeking a storeman to join our small team and work alongside another Storeman and team of Pick Packers. This is a full time role for a well organised and versatile friendly applicant. We seek a self-motivated individual that pays great attention to detail, has some warehousing experience in fast moving goods, and is a team player.

The job involves heavy lifting and being actively on the go as an individual as well as being involved in a small team environment. You must have a valid forklift licence.

Job description loading & unloading trucks, receipting of goods, stocking shelves, control stock rotation, packing and sending orders to customers, pallet consignment booking, keeping the warehouse clean & tidy, working together with other storeman and team of pick packers.

Picking of the order, sort the order, consolidate the order, check items against packing slip by scanning, pack and close cartons, address and label carton, manifest shipment, placement of shipment ready for transporting.

Skills/ experience excellent communication Skills. Extremely great time management skills. Strong Numeracy skills. Good level of Fitness. Previous experience in warehousing or dispatch. Hardworking, reliable and self-motivated. Lifting, pushing, pulling freight by hand trolley is required.

Certifications NZ Driver's License (can drive manual). Forklift & Truck license. Hours of work are Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm & Friday 8am – 1pm. Recipient must be flexible with hours, with over time available during our busy periods.
