Warehouse Assistant Madisons location Hawkes Bay.

Madisons is a locally owned furniture and homewares store located in Napier. We are looking for an energetic individual that is reliable, hardworking and physically fit to join our team.

Responsibilities include receiving and processing inwards goods. Driving company van for stock transfers and customer deliveries. Preparing and dispatching orders. Coordinating with freight companies. Unloading trucks / containers. Distribution of goods within store. Maintaining and arranging a safe, clean and tidy warehouse environment. Other general warehouse duties where required.

The ideal candidate will display the following qualities physically fit (this role includes heavy lifting). Self motivated and efficient. Be able to work in a team environment but also unsupervised. Punctual and organized. Strong communication skills. Full NZ driver's licence. Positive attitude and a good sense of humour. This will be a full-time role based on 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
