About the role BBM are currently seeking a permanent full-time Warehouse Assistant to join our brand new Cryer Malt Distribution Centre in Derrimut.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Assistant will provide support to the Warehouse team through daily order preparation and serves as the initial point of contact for visitors to the distribution centre facility.
The responsibilities will also include receipting of incoming goods and processing outwards good. Cycle Counting. Approving invoices. Pallet Control. Booking of transport. Providing timely reporting. Various tasks to support an efficient warehouse operation (Order Picking If required).
The Warehouse Assistant will also be required to assist occasionally with receiving, handling and dispatching goods in the warehouse and cold storage. About your experience the successful candidate will have the following experience in a similar role within the warehousing and logistics industry.
Motivated, positive, with a proactive approach to work. Excellent spoken and written communication skills. High level of attention to detail and ability to investigate /resolve issues. Exceptional organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks. Proficient in using MS Office Suite. Preference for experience with WMS and ERP systems.
