Due to increased customer requests and long-term growth plans we will be introducing a permanent second shift in the new year which will run Monday to Thursday from 2:00pm until 10:30pm. With these additional hours an exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional individual to join our production team based in Ashburton.  The role of Warehouse Assistant is an important one. We have a lot going on at once so we are looking for people who thrive in a fast-paced environment, have excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills, and who can remain calm under pressure.

You’ll be a team player who works well with others to complete tasks and achieve goals. This role reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and will have responsibility of ensuring the efficient running of all warehouse related activities, to ensure that all operations are carried out to the highest standards will also be a vital part of the role.

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Previous experience driving and operating a forklift. Mechanical/ Engineering aptitude. Good levels of communication. Ability to organise and co-ordinate activities in a busy environment. Proficient computer skills. Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision. Understanding/experience in continuous improvement.

The ability to contribute to and foster our Health and Safety culture. Ensuring final product quality standards are maintained to continue delivery of the highest quality product to the customer. We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to be an energetic individual with a can-do attitude who is ready to step up and take full ownership of the role.
