Warehouse Administration Assistant The Glen Cameron Group location Sydney.
Cameron Logistics has an opportunity for an Administration all-rounder to join the friendly team based in Erskine Park NSW. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor, this is a permanent position working Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will enjoy a variety of responsibilities and have the ability to step into any position within the administration function. The Role requires a knowledge and ability to perform and capture all administrative tasks ensuring the warehouse is efficient and compliant.
Safety be a key part of the Warehouse Team assisting to identify and report any risks and ensure approved PPE is worn when required. Adhere to all Health, Safety and Wellbeing policies and procedures. Participate in tool box talks, safety walks and talks and all safety initiatives that are conducted. Understand and follow all company policies and procedures.
Customers all transactions are captured in line with our customers’ expectations. Through your good work our customers will have a positive experience. Communicate clearly, concisely and respectfully with all internal and external stakeholders. Focusing on continuous improvement within your role and always suggest new ideas to stream line the workflow and enhance our customers experience. Ability to prioritise your work to ensure that the demands of our customers are met.
Administration manage the clerical and computerised operations of all warehousing and distribution transactions. Process and coordinate invoicing. Maintain and improve current quality standards and make improvements to Key Performance Indicators. (KPIs). Strictly adhere to the requirements of the quality system implementing corrective and preventative actions. Any other duties that may be reasonably requested from time to time.
Stock control ensure your expectations are clearly understood by the greater workforce so that you can do your role. Assist with the coordination of stocktakes and reconcile all stock levels as required.
Qualifications, Skills and experience sound understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and warehouse admin information systems. Excellent phone manner and relationship building skills. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills via phone and email. Experience in a similar warehouse or distribution centre role is favourable. Demonstrated experience in an administration capacity. Fast learner with confident computer skills. Intermediate level user of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel. Satisfactory results of a criminal background check and pre-employment medical. A positive “Can Do” attitude.
