Peninsula Vet Emergency and Referral Hospital is a specialist referral hospital for animals on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. Our caring team provide surgical, medical and emergency care to small animals 24 hours, 7 days a week.

We are looking for an exceptional customer service representative to be the welcoming face of our busy animal hospital. The position this is a full time position - Monday to Friday.

The position includes the following responsibilities general reception duties including answering and managing multiple lines of incoming calls. Scheduling of appointments for surgical and postoperative consultations. Providing exceptional customer service to our clients. Processing and lodgement of insurance paperwork. Processing of client payments. Various administration tasks as required.

The successful candidate will have and be able to demonstrate the following minimum three years’ experience in a general receptionist role.

Sound understanding of, and the ability to provide high levels of client service. Excellent communication skills. Excellent phone manner. Ability to build positive relationships with referring practices. The ability to multi-task. Attention to detail. Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced work environment. A positive can do attitude.
