Veterinary Receptionist VetPartners location Sydney.
If you do, an exciting opportunity has come up to join our exceptional team as a full-time receptionist. We are looking for a customer service superstar who is a well-presented team player with a keen interest in animals and an enthusiastic attitude towards helping our clients and their pets.
Vets @ Acacia Gardens is a purpose built and modern veterinary hospital that was established to provide the highest standard of professional care in a friendly and compassionate environment in the growing North-West of Sydney.
We are now looking for that special someone to help with our growing client base and join our highly dedicated, supportive team which includes 4 veterinarians, 9 nurses and 1 other receptionist.
Your general duties will include handling client enquiries. Taking phone calls. Making appointments. Admitting and discharging patients. Managing accounts. Ordering and stock management. Some veterinary nursing may be required. Liaising with suppliers.
The successful applicant will have time management and organisation skills. Be an excellent communicator with the ability to demonstrate compassion, sensitivity and understanding towards our patients, clients and colleagues.
Be able to think quickly and accurately in order to manage multiple tasks. Demonstrate a desire to learn. Be familiar with Excel and Word +/- experience using visionvpm computer programme (preferred but not essential).
Be driven to provide great patient and client care. Have the ability to remain level-headed even when under pressure. Have a positive, can-do attitude and be willing to get amongst the action. Have good work ethic and be able to work unsupervised and independently.
Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer service role. Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or other experience in the pet/veterinary industry is strongly preferred, but not essential.
