About the role file Management and Transcription Services (FM&T) are an integral part of the Service Group. The FM&T is part of a nationally centralised group which supports a number of key elements of the case management process, our frontline staff and also provides key services to victims. The Service Group is looking for an engaged and motivated individuals for the role of Transcriber with a focus on exceptional case management and service delivery.
You will work as part of the team, reporting to the Supervisor of Transcription Services, with a clear focus on supporting both frontline staff and victims, while driving innovation and good data quality practices in order to deliver on Our Business. In order to meet the typing requirements, you must be able to manage your time in this fast paced and deadline driven environment. You will be highly motivated and a professional team player who can manage handling sensitive material.
The Service group is looking for engaged and highly motivated people to be part of a dynamic new team in the Transcription Service group. The environment is fast-paced and conscientious with each member ensuring quality of work is kept to a high standard.
Key accountabilities ability to transcribe accurately from DVDs and audio recordings. Work under pressure whilst managing conflicting demands. Excellent grammar and spelling. Outstanding written and oral communication. Being able to plan and prioritise workloads.

Audio transcription experience is preferred but not essential the nature of the role you will need to have an empathetic and confidential approach to the sensitive material you are dealing with. Strong Microsoft Word and Administration skills are is important, working knowledge of Winscribe would be advantageous.
Accuracy in the role is essential along with being able to have honest and open communication with your team and leader to ensure timeframes are met. Please note that this role is worked on a 3:33 Shift rotation, the option of part time could also be an option depending on shift availability. This would be a rotation of 3 early shifts (6.00am – 2.15pm), 3 late shifts (12.00-9.00pm) and 3 days off. This role is set at Individual Contributor level, this means your key purpose is “to deliver or enable others to deliver Our Business”.
