Trainee Train Planner Transport for NSW location Sydney.

The opportunity the train planning unit currently has a number of permanent full-time (PFT) traineeships available in 2020. Trainees will be assisting Train Planners with entering timetables data, checking timetables accuracy and completing less complex timetable alterations. Trainees must be 18 or over, have high level numeracy skills, be able to proof read to a high degree of accuracy and have a strong attention to detail.

The Train Planning Group contributes to keeping Sydney moving by producing the daily train plan for each day of operation. This Daily Working Timetable contains alterations to the Standard Working Timetable to cater for Special Events, network maintenance possessions, work trains, heritage trains and charter trains.

As a trainee, you will earn $75,356 per annum, as well as 9.5% superannuation, annual leave loading. Training runs for a 12 month period at the end of which you will be eligible to apply for positions as a Train Planner.
