Trainee Train Driver Transport for NSW location Sydney.

Starting salary from $1,469.60 per week + 9.5% superannuation, leave loading and shift allowances. We are looking for safety-minded women to join us as Trainee Train Drivers. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the team that keeps Sydney moving. In this role, you’ll help our customers get to their destinations quickly and safely. If you have experience working in an operational safety, customer centric and challenging environment, this could be the role for you.

Have you got what it takes to become a Train Driver, you will need to commit to our year-long intensive training program. We’ll teach you everything you need to know to equip you with the skills, training and support you need to become a fully-qualified train driver. Our program runs to a tight schedule that includes evenings and weekends. Leave is built into the program, however, during program terms, we are unable to accommodate for our trainees to attend family, social or sporting commitments.
In addition to working a rotating roster across evenings, weekends and public holidays, you will also need to commit to studying various challenging topics including train mechanics, signal patterns and emergency procedures to pass your training.
