Bookkeeper Sandgate Home Assist Secure location Brisbane.
At least 5 years’ relevant work experience in accounting environment. Experience with data entry (specifically with MYOB) and administration and ability to learn new software. Qualification in bookkeeping preferred (or currently being attained). Great customer service, a team player and a commitment to contributing to our community and members’. Approx 15-20 hours per week.
The role we are a local community not for profit organisation that provides home maintenance and modification services to seniors in the community. We are seeking a bookkeeper to assist with our administration and financial functions. This role will be based in our office in Sandgate.

Responsibilities entry of accounts payable, accounts receivable, subsidy payments and bank accounts. Weekly banking and associated finance processes. Assist with debt management. Respond to customers enquiries regarding their accounts via email and phone. Liaising with customers, suppliers, Field Officers and office staff. Working with a Senior Finance and Payroll professional to complete functions.
Skills strong administrative skills, ability to meet deadlines and work autonomously as part of a small team. A great communicator with excellent customer service, sober habits and a team player able to work at a fast-pace.
