WR Twigg HB is a locally owned Engineering supply business. We have a strong history of supplying quality goods to the transport and general engineering industries, throughout Hawkes Bay, Central Hawkes Bay, Wairoa and Gisborne. We are currently looking for a full time TRADE sales assistant to join our team, and serve in our busy shop.

Key responsibilities meeting and greeting customers and counter sales. Purchasing stock, and stock control. Receiving and entering stock into the system. Receiving phone calls from customers needing urgent parts and dispatching. Sourcing unique stock for customers. Providing customers with expert advice, while problem solving on trickier components. Answering the telephone.

Key attributes dynamic customer orientated individual. Excellent people skills with the ability to relate to all kinds of people. Reasonable to high level knowledge of engineering or mechanics and a desire to grow and learn more. Basic computer knowledge (support and training provided). Honest, hardworking and be able to think on their feet. Able to work unsupervised and under pressure in a timely and systematic way. Positive team player.
