Tourism Assistant Rainforest Retreat location West Coast.

Tourism Assistants needed. If you have a positive and happy attitude and would like to be part of our permanent team. Rainforest Retreat is a tourism business located in Franz Josef on the West Coast of the South Island. We have a large backpackers, Motels, Luxury lodges a holiday park and our very popular monsoon bar & restaurant.

This is a multi-tasked full time role. Each morning you will be working in the housekeeping department cleaning and servicing all the rooms and associated areas within the complex. Extra hours may be available working in various departments depending on suitability from bar and restaurant, laundry or night/early morning cleans.

You will be required to have the following excellent customer service skills. Experience in housekeeping. Experience in restaurant work a huge advantage. A current NZ drivers license. Being a great team player and most importantly having a positive "lets get the job done" attitude.

We all work hard together to achieve a great environment for guests and staff to enjoy and relax in. With the large development of this business there is lots of room for staff input into different areas of the business.

You must be willing to work weekends and public holidays. You will work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Franz Josef is situated 2-hour drive from Hokitika and is a little town with small town facilities. Ideally we are looking for someone locally with their own accommodation. If accommodation is required we do have a staff house with shared accommodation for the right person.
