Here’s how you’ll be a part of our team

As a casual Coates Toolstore Controller, you will be responsible for the preparation of Coates mobile onsite tool-stores, ensuring the availability and supply of tool-store contents for our clients needs while on hire.

You’ll need to be able to work remotely as required at sites in WA and NT, this could involve working away from home for a period of time
Between assignments on site, you will be based at Coates Belmont branch.
Travel, accommodation, and meals will be provided, along with an uplift allowance while you are onsite. Shifts while onsite are from 10-12hrs, with overtime penalties paid after 7.6hrs.

Your typical day will focus on:

Manage, source and plan tooling and consumables to meet customer demands
Assist with opportunities to maximise equipment utilisation
Ensure tooling & equipment is in good working order ready for hire
Manage the dispatch and retrieval of tooling and equipment
Conduct stock takes and record inventory data electronically, report as required.

What you’ll bring to the role

As well as having exceptional customer service skills and a can-do, flexible attitude, you will have:

Remote mine site experience is desirable but not essential
Store person/Hardware store experience desirable but not essential
Familiarisation with Take 5’s and JSEA’s
Current drivers & forklift high risk licence
Ability to obtain a medical clearance (paid for by Coates)
Intermediate computer skills, time management & organisational skills.
