We welcome applications for the position of Territory Sales Manager with our company, selling materials handling equipment (forklifts) in to the logistics, transport, warehousing and manufacturing industries.

Centra is the Master Distributor & Importer in NZ of the international, tier one, award winning Mitsubishi Forklift brand. We are seeking a team player, with a great attitude, to join our successful sales department in delivering exceptional sales & service to our customers.  This is an interesting and varied role and no two days will be the same.

The position will be based out of our Mangere Bridge office in Auckland, and your key responsibility will be to sell new equipment within your designated region. Relationship skills are critical, and you will understand the value of providing exceptional and timely customer service. Your ability to cold call and open doors is essential and is tied to earnings.

The key skills required plan & prioritise sales activities and customer prospects. Plan, strategise and manage your territory. Maintain existing, cultivate and develop new relationships. Assemble Quotes of new product. Plan, carry out and support marketing activities.

Understanding of standard Microsoft Office applications. Customer service focus with a team player can-do attitude. Current driver's license. Possess New Zealand Residency. Your previous experience in material handling equipment sales or any capital equipment sales is preferred, but not essential.

Your remuneration will be a base salary paid monthly, plus a generous commission structure paid 20th of the month, commensurate with current market expectations, and includes a company credit card for business purposes, a company vehicle (Mitsubishi), laptop and mobile phone.  Commission is not capped and you are expected to earn into the six figure income range.
