We’re looking for someone who is dedicated to securing and maintaining the digital products, platforms and IT needs across the IKEA Sylvia Park store, external warehouse and offsite office to meet the needs of the many people. - ensuring their reliability and excellence in supporting business operations, enabling co-worker tasks and enhancing the omnichannel customer experience.

Working hours are typically Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm, however you will need to have the flexibility to be available before or after business hours to accommodate major digital roll outs without disrupting business operations. This includes night shifts (when required) and weekends on a roster basis.

A little more about the job we may be experts in home furnishing, but it is your expertise in the following we are looking for robust experience in incident and service request managements to resolve onsite issues per agreed service levels. Experience in lifecycle management of all IT assets including maintaining an accurate inventory, preparing budget input, procurement of new hardware and software as well configuration of new assets.

Experience in leading and implementing on-site projects for new and existing digital product deployments. Experience with working and managing local and global vendors. Experience in performing preventative maintenance and routine monitoring to avoid potential business interruptions​. Providing basic hands-on technical training to onsite IKEA co-workers and new recruits, including setting up and onboarding them with new equipment (e.g., laptops)​.

Additional information this role is permanent, full time. The working location for this role after store construction will be at IKEA Sylvia Park. Prior to construction of temporary offices, the work location will be a mix of work from home, as well as building digital equipment for the temporary office and warehouse. As part of this role there will be travel to Australia for training.
